  1. Just think for the price of a 350Z (maybe a bit more) you could own a real piece of history!
  2. 240ztt has located this vehicle on yahoo japan auctions and if nothing else it is fun to dream? http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/body/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpage11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp%2Fjp%2Fauction%2Fn14706261&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2
  3. Classic Motorsports magazine is soliciting feedback for their latest project car: a 1970 240Z (04/70 production date). Here is a link to the thread in case anyone is interested in sharing their viewpoint: http://www.grmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=85261#85261 The car is slated to debut in the next issue (July 2005-- bi-monthly production) and the magazine would like to know which way to proceed. :classic:
  4. Nice photoshop! I would prefer that they just retool the S30 bodyshell to be honest. Look at the Porsche 911; when it's right it's right. Another shape to emulate would have been the Toyota 2000GT, Jaguar XKE, or Ferrari 275GTB/4.

Since I am lucky to own both a first generation S30 and the latest Z33 as well as the couple that came in between I can openly admit to enjoying the S30 more than the Z33. If I was forced to choose only one and had to drive said car everyday in the snow and the rain I would probably pick the 350Z. I only say that because this weekend I made the difficult decision to part out my '82 280ZX and it is painful sending any Z to the junkyard. Thankfully the 350Z has a timing chain motor and it is fairly easy to perform simple tasks such as the oil change without a lot of headaches (even my '86 300ZX can't claim that feat). If I were lucky enough to live in California I would have to pick the 280Z as my daily driver.
  6. Here's a link to a similar thread over at Grassroots Motorsports forum: http://www.grmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=7751 BTW, I am still pissed because Jimmi Hendrix died two days before I was born! As if that wasn't bad enough Jim Morrison dies within a year of Sept. 1970.
  7. I was born on 20 September 1970 and besides the obvious 240Z this remains one of my favorites from '70:
  8. :knockedou Carl, That was very good! That was the funniest thing I have seen all day today!
