Guy...Whats fly cut. excuse my ignorance. I think I have the the same set up as chris. guess you'll have to road trip up to the boulevard and give me some pointers on my engine in the shed.
  5. Thanks. Think i can get it all straight with all the info. All the pictures are very helpful. Brian
  6. Whats the measurement from the metal battery tray to the bolt hole at top that holds battery down. 2nd..whats the size of the hole for the main wiring harness? These are on my list today. If anyone has a real good picture of firewall hole location on a 73 that would be helpful too. It looks like about 6 inches up and 3 inches to left from center of frame rail to center of hole? Thanks Brian
  7. The 2 little clips under each tail light are the pieces i need. Just need one. I'll call zbarn tomorrow and see if he has any. Gotta love rust. Guy...Im always working on this thing on weekends, if you get bored give me a call and ride up to ashland one day.
  8. yeah I'll get one this weak.
  9. Anybody know where i can find the lower clip that holds the rear outer panel on a 240z(the panel across back with license pate). Its the clip thats spot welded in place. There are several of them along the bottom and one is broke so the panel is loose at bottom. Ive had no luck with junk yards around here. If picture is needed to explain better, I'll get one this week.
  10. i put a couple feet of chain in my tank along with some kerosene and shook the hell out of it. then repeat repeat repeat. in the end i poured the kerosene out over a piece of porch screen until nothing came out but kerosene. hope this helps. keep one end of chain out so you dont lose it all.
  11. yep totally missed that..thanks
  12. what grit sandpaper are you using to remove the paint? Im getting ready to start sanding mine down soon. My project is more of a get it back on the road and have fun with it now and do a more thorough refresh down the road. your project looks like its coming along great.
  13. Does anyone know if a glass shop can just reseal a old sunroof? unfortunately I also have a sunroof but definately dont want to replace the roof right now.
  14. If you have a jack, you can put a piece of wood on it and jack it up to bottom of dent and the beat the dent out straight. hope that helps

If anyone has or gets a chance to take a picture of the bottom rear front fender where it mounts to the body...it would be a great help. fenders were rusted so bad i cant tell how the bottom is supposed to look. im not using a repair panel so a picture will help me get it close to right. i probably should have put this in help section. sorry Brian
  20. thanks Kenny
  21. Thats bad arse. love the gray black look and triples.
  22. Anyone know what size bolts hold the front fenders on at the top inside the engine bay? When I removed them they all broke and i now have to weld new nuts and put new bolts in. Just want the right head size..not that it really matters.
