The most complicated part is the breaker plate. It has a circlip that is difficult to deal with and the way that the parts fit together is not obvious. Have you tried just grabbing rocker arms and reefing them around to see if you can find looseness? Put down the stethoscope and get rough. You might try removing the mouse trap springs and rechecking lash. They add extra force that the feeler gauge has to overcome. Might not be getting the right measurements.

I just realized that you were kind of throwing my own words back at me. Like Trump does. If you listen to the scientists and doctors, this virus will be around for a few years. So, for me, now is the next election. But, even on a very short time frame, Trump is not doing much but talking. So, there really is no "now". We need to remember what's not happening in the very short term, "now", so that in just a few short months we can make a change. There is nothing really that anyone can do "now". The die has been cast and we're stuck with it. Let's burn this inaction and incompetence in to our psyches so that when the red hats come out and the mindless chanting start again, we'll remember what it leads to.

It's been ten minutes of the "town hall" and Trump has already said nothing new. He has boiled it down to "you won't be able to shake hands for a while". I'm not kidding. Apparently Trump is going to hold a two hour "town hall" meeting today. He won't be able to focus on the problem. He'll end up talking about he didn't need this job because he's a millionaire, he did a great job anyway, and things will bounce back, better than before, in a couple of weeks. Doesn't matter who's to blame, what matters is who's going to get us out of it, and handle the next round best. Even someone who hates the chinese can see that. Hate won't make things better. And of course, if you think that things will never change, then why bother doing anything at all?
