  2. I dont think they could ship it for $68! My 20T is pretty heavy. Get the HF 20T and sell the old one, thats what I did. As others said, heat helps. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/strictlymot.com Here is where they stole the image from....scam https://perfectionindustrial.auctionserver.net/m/lot-details/index/catalog/132/lot/21978/ google images is a neat tool

Same here, I have tried to seal up everything during my restoration.
  4. 20T HF press was able to remove mine as well.
  5. No problem, IIRC, I used a kit like this to remove those bushings. I think the kit was about $60 when I bought it a few years ago. Crazy how much stuff has gone up. Love seeing your progress. https://www.amazon.com/YUAN-Universal-Sleeve-Install-Bearings/dp/B07ML8N9X5/ref=sr_1_16?crid=1B59JLDEHYZCR&keywords=bushing+removal+kit&qid=1679261019&sprefix=%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-16&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0
  6. If you are talking about removing the rear spindles, I have a pretty good tool that I bought many years ago. Homemade by a guy, you are more than welcome to use, just let me know.
  7. Got this one and bead blasted it for you. Let me know if you want it. Just pay for shipping.
  8. Crazy cool weather overnight for the last week here in SC as well. I have been covering up the blueberries! I wonder if those marks on the front strut tower are for assembly?
  9. I have two old unusable blocks. I can try and get one out if they are in decent shape.
  10. Thanks. Great picture, shows where the wires came out of the harness. I have looked through my pictures and dont see those wires at all. Now that I know where they came from, I can get under the dash for the 100th time, forget the flashlight, get back out, get the flashlight, and see what I can find! Maybe the buzzer was removed and I noted they were unused, and taped them off. Thanks again guys, I appreciate the help.
  11. Thanks Bill. That is exactly what I am looking for. I cant seem to locate the wires. Not that I am dying to hook up the buzzer, just cant recall the wires. I will go back through my pictures and see if I see them. I am pretty sure the buzzer wasnt there.
  12. My car is a 3/72 and I just reinstalled the wire harness and dash. I noticed in the manual and wiring diagram a key buzzer in the area of the pedal box. I cant find the wires that would have gone to the buzzer. Did all the 240z's have a buzzer? I just have what I believe is the flasher relay. Although, I had two wires coming out of the key switch which I would a assume would be the trigger for the buzzer. My flasher has a white wire and a green wire, as described in the wiring diagram. Buzzer is shown as Yellow and red wires. I dont think they are in my harness.
  13. Really nice finish on the parts! I use a wire basket in my vapor blasting cabinet, works great for small nuts and bolts. If I could find a mesh shaker billiard bottle that would be the perfect tool. Just put the nozzle in the top and shake it around.
  14. I just got an email from Just Dashes, they have my VIN tag and are mailing it back with some rivets. That was lucky.
  15. I installed the dash on Sunday and discovered the VIN tag missing. Just Dashes must have removed it to paint the frame. I hope they still have it, but I doubt it. I found a vendor on Ebay that reproduces them, so I may have to go that route. I wrote myself a big fat note to avoid installing the windshield before the vin tag!
  16. After knowing you have good compression, I would be looking at ignition. I know you dont want to go there, but this simple tool may give some insight as to the offending cylinder. https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-20610-Inline-Spark-Tester/dp/B0002STSC6?th=1
  17. Beautiful work!
  18. Thanks for the replies. I have found a couple of instances when the parts manuals didn't match what I thought was correct. I guess the FSM is the better document. I only use JIS hardware, and let me tell you, I have had to replace a lot of hardware that wasn't correct! I took a ton of spare hardware and had it replated along with other stuff. Between that and Belmetric it has been invaluable.
  19. I have one of these, not this exact one, and it is very useful for adjusting valves, checking compression, etc. https://www.amazon.com/Performance-Tool-W80586-Remote-Starter/dp/B00OPVYHZ4/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=remote+starter+button&qid=1677800656&sr=8-5
  20. I am putting my steering column back in. Wondering which way the coupler bolts go. My pictures prior to taking the car apart show the nuts towards the steering rack. When I look at the parts diagram it shows the nuts towards the firewall (#30,31,32). Just trying to figure out where my nuts go 🙂
  21. More progress, I put a lot of time in this weekend.
  22. You know you are in trouble when the shop asks "is it OBD1 or 2?"🤣
  23. Making some progress putting it back together. I didn't like the way the fender and hood fit, so I decided to paint the inside and put it together enough to get it to a frame machine. Then go after the exterior bodywork. Not the ideal, but it is the next right thing to do. Two things I have learned over the years: You cant take too many pictures and never throw anything away! One other thing, aftermarket is never as good as the original.

I am pretty sure that is the same vendor I bought two skins from. I put them on myself and the fit was pretty good.
  25. I may end up getting one of the fenders and will post up how it fits. Their rear taillight panel was very good. Their complete pre-bent brake hardline kit was pre-bent just not in the right places. Thank goodness I still had my old lines to reference.
