Yep V8 swap, sorry purists. How would I go about identifying if I do have a R200? The previous owner(s) before me have done lots of different things to this car and it's not quite original anymore.

Thanks for the help. Are there any aftermarket LSDs that could be swapped in? I'm going to be making a minimum of 300 HP and I'm really gonna need a strong rear end with some traction.

I'm looking for a R200 rear end to go on my 74 260. I *thought* that only the Z's had them but I've seen some from other newer Nissan's that people sell to go on the Z's. What different cars could I rip this out of? Also what other parts would I need to finish the conversion?

I don't have my hopes up too much on this one but I'm SURE it's gonna be far superior to the stock lighting system. Also any links to these "retrofit" kits for my car? Most Z owners might not care but lighting is a LARGE concern of mine especially since I drive all country roads. I wouldn't have even thought of spending that much on some lights until after actually having used HIDs for a couple of months, you just can't go back to standard lighting.

I knew that these were the "ricer" bulbs but the kit was a good deal I think. My last car was a 02 Maxima and it had real HID's and so I've been wondering if there is a generic HID kit that I could fit into my 260. I really miss my HIDs

I just purchased a set of new H4 headlight assemblies for my 74 off of e-bay. Where can I purchase new connectors, relays, and other misc. stuff I might need to switch it over. This is what it said I was getting: x2 IDENTICAL CRYSTAL DOT / SAE APPROVAL LENSES WITH BUILT IN SIDE PARKING LIGHTS ON THE SAME SIDE (SHOWN IN THE ABOVE PICTURES) x2 MADE IN USA H4 SUPER WHITE XENON HID LOOK BULBS x2 HYPER BLUE 194/168 PARKING LIGHT BULBS WITH 2 SOCKETS x2 RUBBER SEALED CAP 55/60W Usage --> 90/100W Output So any help would be appreciated.

Apparently I lucked out on the recent 74 260 I purchased. The only area that could possibly need welding is the part where the hood is supported on the right side of the vehicle. It's sturdy enough to hold it firmly now but no point in not fixing it while I've got it apart. But as far as floor boards mine are very solid, and the hatch area has a hole on each side but the largest of the 2 is only about the size of a small pen. Only paid 2500 too
