some twits atempted to sleal my nice little corolla fxgt when i was at a concert some years ago.forced locks,busted glass,a failed effort to remove the ignition barrel with a slide hammer?, steering column and console all mangled, total buffoons, had to have the car towed, cops couldnt care less,insurance excess ect, ect, in all a bad experience..I simply couldnt imagine the dark place i'd be in if somebody messed with my Z...Grrrrrrrrrrr!!! hulk smash!!!!! :angry:

some po had sawn the threaded end off of my shifter, so i bored the sawn off end and threaded in a short 8mm stud.

While this is a shade dodgey,it can be put to good use to re register an otherwise perfectly useable z car who's registration may have been allowed to lapse during a long restoration (for example), without all the rediculous rules imposed by an old car hating government.Its just a pitty this can fall into the wrong hands,and a tad brazen putting it up on ebay!!

my 260's was full of rust, so i removed the whole inner portion.I've since made a replacement with round holes, i just turned up a simple press tool on a lathe at work.I havent fitted it as yet so i can send photo's if you like.

In the pilot episode of the incredible hulk Dr Elaina marks is driving a gold Z or ZX and the car that Dr David banner trashes when he turns into the hulk for the first time is an early model (ta22?) toyota celica.My car has featured in a music clip for some unknown local band.it was quite rediculous really because they were cramming three people into the front of my poor little car!!! they then had to get out looking all cool...:laugh:

We just dont see z's in wreckers yards here, if I ever did it'd be coming home with me no question!! :laugh:
