  2. The car was made in april of 75. This thing has had a few paint jobs and some bondo work for sure!
  3. I agree with the half dash cap! Im going to clean it up really good because its in perfect condition and not glued down. Then just use it as a removable cover for my dash. Or sell it and get a cloth cover.
  4. Did the 75's come with vents in the hood? I thought they didnt do that till about 77 and 78.
  5. I didnt get keys with it so im going to take the door looks to a locksmith and have some made. Then Ill have a whole set!
  6. I didnt even notice the headers! Sweet!!!
  7. She might run if the EFI system was all there.
  8. Not In the condition that the guys said it was. This car sure has seen better days!!! Im getting a few good parts off of it. I got two door pannels that are in pretty good shape. What kind of steering wheel is that? I think there is enough parts here to get my moneys worth out of it. I traded two old sony subs, old amp, 1969 evinrude outboard that need a tune up and a cheap stereo. <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP1995.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP1995.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP1998.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP1998.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP1999.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP1999.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP2000.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP2000.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP2002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP2002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP2003.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP2003.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP2001.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP2001.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP1996.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP1996.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/?action=view&current=IMGP1997.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/timwthcheese/IMGP1997.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
  9. I believe the problem is a blown head gasket. The passengers side of the block is wet with what appers to be oil. This would make since... there is water in there thats not allowing the motor to fire or run right. I got her to where she will run now but she runs like crap. I have changed most of the sensors and conectors in the thermostat housing. So thats not the problem. I dont know for sure but one thing I do know is I want her fixed so I can drive her!
  10. I picking up a complete non running 75 280z on tuesday!!! As soon as I get good pics Ill post them! Im pumped!
  11. Is this mounting blot hole the same I will be using for the 240 bumper? Or do they even mount to the side of the car?
  12. MAN! Already got an email back from Brian! That was fast! He's going to have some brackets ready within the next week.
  13. Ya I just sent him an email. Im not in a hurry to get them so its fine. I dont even have replacment bumpers yet. I have all the bumper parts of the car now! Finally! Looks alot shorter!
  14. Is Brian the only one that would have these brackets?
  15. I have another question about the rear shock absorbers. If im going to be putting a 240z style bumper on should I still remove them? Is there a special bracket out there?
  16. I hope my windsheild dosent break! Its in perfect condition!
  17. I was hoping I didnt have to drop the whole tank.
  18. Yes I would love a step by step on this process. I have never done it before.
  19. I took the rear bumper and the rubber...(what’s left of it) off my 76 280. The front shock absorbers come off easy but it looks like the rear shock absorbers are nearly impossible to take off with out removing a lot of other things. For those of you that have done this what all do you have to remove to take the rear absorbers out???
  20. I want to remove the windshield, the glass in the hatch, and the small side windows as well when I get the car painted. How difficult is it to do this? Is it pretty easy to put them back in? I plan on buying a weather stripping and seal kit to replace all the old rubber.
  21. Dude that sucks man! Hope you figure it out when you get home.
  22. I know and thats why when I get my body work done and a repaint im going with the 240 style bumpers. The rubber is so brittle a new piece falls off everyday.
  23. I totally agree with you! The one thing that gets me about the 280z bumpers is that is cost way more for the replacement rubber then just to get a set of used 240 bumpers. Original is the way to go. A few mods are ok but no body mods. I dont like seeing people putting extra holes in a car for mods!
  24. Im in the middle of converting all my connectors to those kind. They have a more snugg fit. Really good for the fuel injectors. I like them alot!
