Well I paid 1200. All said and done I have 3150 in her. I’m kinda goofy though I keep spreadsheets on stuff I buy to see what it really cost, minus gas and insurance. But I’m still ahead . It was fairly clean before now.

Can you believe that is $3800 to fix? I cashed out and will be selling the truck! From my research the truck was only worth $2500 at best. I only paid $1200.

Clearly, regardless of the facts you know about cars, the way you handled this is simply wrong. You understood he took it as an insult but didn't care because the facts were more important to YOU. I have this eBay search setup up for datsun items that have at least one bid and I’m shocked to how many hot wheels cars people buy? Now I’m not downing any of if you collect these items but what do you do with them? The other night I’m watching one of the house shows with my wife and this guy had to have a garage to display his action figures. I looked at my wife and said would you rather I collect those or my cars? She was like cars hands down!

Thank you. I always try and plan an exit strategy. I used to race rc cars competitively as kid and my dad would always bitch at me, are you blind, plan your exit. It got the point where I wouldn’t blink the entire race and my eyes would just tear the whole time. Seemed if I blinked something would always happen.

I didn’t. I have one in my daily, but I drive my truck once a month now at best. I think I’m going to get one for everyone’s cars.

So today I had my first accident in 15 years or so that I can remember in my 2001 truck I use for this and that. This women with her two kids in the back decides to pull a u turn right in front of me while I’m going through the intersection. I was able to not T-bone her by changing lanes, getting half way on the sidewalk and avoiding the cemetery fence. Luckily I wasn’t going very fast and was able to shed a lot of speed by braking, but I know there was no way I was going to stop in time. She ended up hiting me on the drivers door and damaged the entire side of the truck. Not to bad, but not great. So the rest of the afternoon and evening, I’ve never felt so paranoid driving in my life. Im not sure what’s wrong with me other than I appreciate being alive or I’m getting old! Maybe because I am getting old I’m appreciating life more!

What oil are you running? I have a stumble and the recommendation was to increase SU oil viscosity with a relatively stock L28 engine now. I haven't tried it yet and I see you've increased the spring tension already. Wonder if some experimentation may not be in order. I had an L28 with a 530 lift, 306 duration Isky cam, bored, ported, etc., with stock SU's and it ran wonderful. I swapped over from OER 45's as I didn't want the hassle at the time. Wish I kept that car.

Trying to organize all my nissan stuff from all the crap. Went through 2 tool boxes and much more to go. So hard when you have that nut or bolt that you know you have that you can’t find.
