Collectible Automobile Magazine 240Z feature!
Just thought I let you all know that Collectible Automobile Magazine has a really nice feature of the 240Z. It even has a Yellow "240ZG" version supposedly driven by Mr. K himself. As usual though they seem to have got the Goertz myth wrong again but what magizine hasn't that featured the Z. Well anyway I only glanced at it at the store so will make good reading though for some one who buys it. Some really nice Z pictures in there right from the open shot. And the Best part is Classiczcars.com is the 1st listed on the car clubs list ! Freaking AWESOOOOMMMMEEEE ! ~Z~

I'm Bringing Back Tha Twin Stacks ^_^ !
Hello All, I've had alot, I mean ALOT of interest in the ANSA Twin Stacks and I just like to let every one who is interested know I'll be selling the rest of the few I have left on EBAY. Just search for ANSA and Datsun as your keywords sold by my screen name there as GangLoadOParts with 100% positive feed back . I only have a very, very few left and since demand and interest obivously out weighs supply I just thought it fair to let the interested members know since I deleated the set price ads from the classifieds here, craigslist and HybridZ if anyone thought I sold out by chance. I'm also in the middle of doing a wirite up as well on the appearent variations of the Twin Stacks which shoud be very interesting to some. Lets just say theres at least 2 different types since these were all hand made in Italy leading me to believe there may have been 2 different versions that were made from seperate blueprints! no muffler
OK, just for starters this is my first time seeing this member on the boards. With that being said I sure he's not really going to drive the car as Sblake01 thinks for the reasons he obviously mentioned but just wanted to at least see what it sounds like out of curiousty, and I have to say I would of tried it too but know already not to actually drive that way for "Dirt Nap" reasons . But I calld my cousin over to read this thread and gave him a breif run down on the exhuast premence of this thread and when he got to the part qouted above we both loughed LOL Now at least try and run a side pipe like a 66 Corvette or simliar era. Thrush made a good set of those in the 60's and can be found on EBAY for a reassonable price and may even have the nice Race Car sound you love. I'm not all that much of an expert on Thrush as much as I'm am ANSA but I would imagine the Thrush side pipe would be unique and different As long as he wasn't serious bout CO2 doozing, go easy on him Blake ~Z~

NEED HELP to buy in Yahoo JAPAN
Hello Fil I sent you an email about how to bid on parts. I sent 3 links to you and if you have any probs or need help on how to set it up just let me know. That steering wheel you called me about comes up often on YJ and really is not all that hard to find but is expensive as it is a genuin Nissan reproduction piece of the stock steering wheel. Not sure what year though as my '77 has solid spokes with no holes. $430 seems to be the going rate on those. So if you miss out on that auction another on will be up sometime soon hopefully, so no need to worry about not finding one to much. Watch out though for rediculously low prices as that can denote defects sometimes if not listed in the descreptions, or if the descreptions are vague on top of the low price. ~Z~

Discussing 240Z values, especially Low VIN
True that for sure, But I still think the sheer number of our cars on the roads remaining throws us in a space time continueum flux. Theres at least 25 to 30 S30Z's in my area alone. I know of close to ten still bieng daily driving off the top of my head. Some seem to pop up cause some one saw one and had to go have one also themselves, just like this all primered 240Z on black Enkie mesh rims and black fender arches with what appears to be HKS exhaust pipe which turned up around a month and a half ago. And is new to the area since I now where the owner lives and all they used to drive where Hondas. ~Z~

Well put it this way, 1 you'd figured any crusted "one of the first few" of any modle of car will be considered more valuble than any more that came after it. 2 Your Z would be priced a few notches below it but, 3 in this case your Z should be priced on par with this rare find of #486 which brings us to, 4 theres still many of our S30 Z cars out there that the price remains relatively low consideirng you can always take the same coin for a turn key Z like yours and go and buy a comparitively priced Z of your own and build it the way you like to have it from the beginning. Not to say theres nothing wrong with a aready well built Z but most of our babies running around now started off as some ones project anyway now a days. The unrestored original ones are pretty coin and the restorable ones are like 2 or 3 grand ($2,000-$3,000) here in Califronia anyway. And most of those are decent shape turn key daily drivers to start out with with $4,000 to $5,000 netting you a clean, no problems mechanically sound and near if not flawless paint '76 to '78 Z last time I checked the papers. For example I paid $2,000 for my 99.95% rust free '77 with great Wine Red Metallic paint (original color repaint). Put $1,700 rebuilding the engine. And plan to spend another $5,000 to do it all my way the first time to put back on the road. We're talking 6-2 headers, new exhaust line, NOS center Counsel, carpet kit, MSA disc conversion, oil cooler, Nisimo fuel pump, Nismo oil pump, electric fan, Alum Radiator, quick steering knuckles and berings and bushings to name a few list of things. All figured if done right my Z should be worth 9k for a mod'd turn key car,.... or so one would think Wierd market our Z's are. ~Z~

S30 Version ^^ Called "A Little Sloppy, but Interesting Technique" Flying down the Expressway who knew a "practicing session" for D1GP and Furmula Drift would lead into a life of crime. All you heard was the sound of the ANSA coming from the S30's TwinStacks. Careening off the exit ramp he sailed into the parking lot, with the close raito transmission wailing in 5th. Trying to clip the Apex, which was a SUV, he thought he could thread the needle. Instead, Bumped into a pole and drifted into a shopping cart. The hatch flew open and in fell the 52 inch Plasma TV . Down shifted into 2nd, while still sliding backwards, exhaust flames going everywhere, he peeled off into the night never to be seen again. ~Z~ Anyone else have one, lets hear it ^^ And of course it was an S30Z
