  1. Hi All, a guy that I know has asked me to see if I knew what is wrong with his engine. It is an RB26DETT S14 As I am no mechanic I don't know what it may be. It sounds like the main bearings??? Here is the link, let me know what you think it is. http://24.163.137.145/engine.wmv Thanks, Cuong
  2. Hi All, that is a very nice and well built RB26DETT zed! The guy that built the car posts on this site and also on hybridz.org under "skyline240z" Well done to Rick Wong.
  3. Hi George, that is very interesting, because it is well known that Nissan only needed to sell 100 to make the car legal to race. At the end of 1992 the sales tally was 67 and they had difficulty finding homes for the remainder. Maybe check your friend's sources??? Cuong Nguyen
  4. Hi All, just uploaded some pics of my R32 GTR. It is all that I thought it would be and more! Now that my long time dream car is in my driveway, it is hard to think of something that I would want to buy (within reach) Maybe a R34 GTR would be nice...

  6. Hi Alan, you REALLY don't need to send me any more material than you already have! Please just enjoy your stay with fellow S30 Club members. Your Mrs wont let you have one??? Sounds like she has more power than you...Maybe it is a case of "you already have too many toys" Cuong Nguyen

  11. Hi everyone, thanks for your comments, I am wrapped that I've got the opportunity to get this world class motor car. Right car at the wrong time, but.. I HAD to have it! (I will be forever in debt!) Mike, I WILL finish the yellow zed, and no, I will not sell the car, ever. Will post pics of the new car as I will pick it up on Monday afternoon. Sorry I know this is a z site, (but I thought more than a few of you guys would appreciate the GTR as well) Cuong Nguyen
  12. yes the car is silver, I will post the pics next week when I get the car, but no this car is not from Woodlands area. Mr Camouflage, can you please edit your post so the car's make and model isn't there? I would like to see if overseas pleople can guess the car... Cuong Nguyen
  13. HI ALL, just have to tell you all 'cause I am SOOOO exited! Please all you Aussie members, let some of the others guess this one 'cause it will be way too easy for you guys. Well the new car to join my fleet is (going to give you clues now) ... Nicknamed Godzilla because it dominated the Group A Touring Car Championship, winning 29 races it contested, before the rules were changed to basically stop that model car from ever race again. Priced at AUD$110,000 when new, its makers had to sell 100 cars locally in order to homologate the car for racing. (there are many more sold around the world, but not officially in Australia, only the 100, all the others are grey imports) Mine is one of those 100 locally delivered ones, highly collectable and rare, will be collecting it mid week providing all goes well. It has full service history and never been crashed or a single panel repainted, it is just immaculate! (I intend to keep it that way, original and immaculate, that is where the value is...) Well, good luck for all those that are guessing, and the winner gets and ice-cream cone. Cuong Nguyen
  14. Hi guys, thanks for your helps and offers, I think I am going to forget about #998, thank you George for your reports. Cuong Nguyen
  15. Hi That Ozzy Guy, 240Z, Mike, mdbrandy, Ivan, halz, Zkid, and All, Thank you for all your complements and kind words, it is very nice to know that other fellow z owners enjoy the car as much as I have been building it. It is very rewarding when it comes to the final stages and recognition from others makes it all worthwhile. The car is finally running (makes it sooo much easier to drive it around the yard than pushing it!) and I do plan to "try" and get it road legal. I will keep you all posted as work progresses. Take care, Cuong Nguyen
  16. Hi All, I always appreciate the effort that others have put into building their cars, as I know how draining it can be (both mentally and financially) it is to build a car to good standards, regardless of the brand/model. I personally don’t' like the car, it reminds me of cosmetic surgery gone badly! Cuong Nguyen
  17. Hi All, I have just taken and uploaded a few fresh pics of my little 240Z. Please check my photo gallery and visit them (...no 2 & 3 star ratings please...) Hope you all like them, Cuong Nguyen
