yes that is the part I am talking about. This past summer I attended the South Florida Z-fest and saw both types on some of the 240's there. By the way I also saw a fiberglass one there. Thanks for the input though.
hey everyone, Anybody have any ideas on where I can get a new front valance for a 72z? I am willing to buy either a steel or fiberglass one. Also, I have noticed that some early z car valances had a narrow lip and some had a wider one. Whats the difference?
I am looking for wheel spinners/knock offs that would fit 14" American Racing Libre wheels. I have been watching e-bay for quite some time with no luck. Anyone out there have a set they want to get rid of? Thanks Matt V
26th-z, Thanks for the info. I have exactly what you are talking about. My car is a 72 that has approx 72,000 original miles on it. ( it is pictured on the left) It had a poor repaint done at some point. The original color was that highlighter yellow. Underneath my fenders, in the wheel weels, and on the bottom of the floor pans the yellow paint is textured and coarse. I was worried about the originality of the finish. Matt
Arne, Thanks for the info. If I would have tried to get that info on my own it would probably have taken a month and I would have ended up with the wrong size tires. You da man.... matt
Arne, I recently purchased some 14x5.5 Libres. I would like to put 60 series tire on them. How big a tire can i fit on them whithout having clearance problems on my 72z?
I have looked on e-bay for quite some time but generally the face plate is sold with the radio. no luck in junk yards either. Thanks for the help though!!
Hey all, I am trying to replace the radio faceplate on my 72z. I have looked at MSA and Victoria British but they don't carry it. Anyone out there have any ideas?
Hey all, I am in the process of restoring the interior of my 72z. I removed the radio bezel and the fuel/amp guage as well as the clock and then attempted to start my car to move it and nothing happened. Nothing electric in the car works except the hazzards. all fuses are in tact and the battery is good. Any ideas?
my guage doesnt work at all. I was just wondering if there was a way to hook it up to a power source to see if the guage is the problem or is it something else.
