Oh definitely, OSHA white safety socks! HAHA I will never ever stop working on the Z's guy! I am concerned with the Eibachs as I hear they make the but droop too much. Is that an older problem? I really think the HP tokicos are fine now that I read more about them. IT takes quite a bit of effort to push them in and they rise instantly by slowly. So it would see I have a choice now. Which springs to try. Eibach's or tokicos. IF mine have been cut that would explain the harshness. I cannot even push down on any corner of the car. It does NOT MOVE. I think I would dent the sheet metal before the spring compressed. I may have to do a search to see what the free length of tokicos are to verify if mine have in fact have been cut! I would have never suspected that!
  2. It's starting!!! Skynet (Terminator) Hal 9000 (2001) Collosus (The Forbin Project) Cylons (Battlestar Gallactica) U.S. Robotics (I Robot) Red Queen (Resident Evil) Google Cars! (Worst of all...) As a buddy of mine said: I'm gong to go home and kick my toaster, while I still can!

A suggestion: In their never-ending quest to make local news entertaining, the news stations in our area often feature stories about someone having had something sentimental stolen (e.g. a class ring), with a plea to the public for tips. If the stations in your area do this sort of thing, your story would be well suited for local news -- a local man who lovingly restored the sports car he bought new when he was ___ years old. If you add a personal story or two and a $10,000 reward, no questions asked, and you'd have a LOT of eyes out for your car. You might just get it back.
  5. You could just put tape over the camera lens, huh? Can they make a detector for nice-looking brunettes too? Some people really rely on the automatic-shift transmission, like veterans who hurt or lost a leg, or people with one arm hurt, etc. Autonomous cars are a death-trap. It's the same for GPS-driven ones. People can drive much more safely than anything electronically-operated. Some people just decide not to.
  6. Duck tape a potentiometer to a tuning peg. Done. As you can probably imagine, I have gone L.B. on a couple of auto. transmissions long ago & speaking of rants, John Cleese, in Faulty Towers, does the best rant on a stalled car, an Austin I think, that likely has ever been done. Being familiar with harmonicas, perhaps a self tuning option on those too. One would hate to have their Bansee wail out of tune. Mark
