  1. Maybe your breaker plate is sticking? It's a known issue/weakness with S30 distributors. Pull off your distributor cap and rotor, and rotate the breaker plate assembly with your fingers. It should turn smoothly, under spring tension.
  2. Cliff, come out my way and bring your new toy. I'll help you figure out how to use it.
  3. Finally installed Z's onthe brain head light upgrade. If it wasn't for a PO's butchering of the headlight hookup on the right side it would have been painless. Great upgrade. I had it sitting ready a while but naturally I waited till I also had to take the headlight switch off due to overheating and cleanup and repair it also.http://www.kamikazeracing.org/dl/ZTe...mbo_switch.pdf Great link if you are a little handy. Middle pic is the connector some one used instead of proper one. Buddy of mine in the Ontario z car club gave me proper connectors and a little time with a meter test light and wiring diagram made it happen. With a Bosch H4 headlight upgrade that was already installed I will have to use my lowbeams Still am going to cleanup the harness in front of the rad. I have all winter
  4. When I took apart my wipers for powder coating, I carefully laid out the parts in the order of (dis)assembly. Not sure if it helps, but here it is anyway:
  5. I did a mod to my shifter today for the later style transmission into my 71. 20 years ago I replaced my transmission and I just cut the console. I found a pic of a modified shifter for my setup, so I set up a jig and did the modification. Steve

  7. Welcome to the forum Mike. You don't need to keep pumping until it comes out the caps. Just a little inside the spider and centrifugal force will do the work for you. It will work its way out to the ends of the spider when the uni is warm and turning. Its not good to pop the seals each time you grease them. They can stay dislodge and allow dust and grime to get in and destroy the uni-joint. I have used the GMB uni-joints on half shafts before. They came with an extended zerk fitting, but no plug to cap the uni-joint after greasing. I replaced all four zerk fittings with grub screws. Probably wouldn't effect vibrations, but one less source the better. That was my theory. Chas
