Diamond in the rough

Featured Replies

I think I have found the Z of my dreams. I may just sell my 240. Either way I have to have it. What a value!!

And it's just tan/brown paint....not rust...no really.

You're right. Given the $200 buy it now price you should probably jump at it before someone else gets it. ROFL

Given my sick sense of humor, I would suggest showing the car in the "Gross-out Pig Category". Trophy winner, there....

As a "show car", you could trailer it.

Hey now don't all you guys in those sunshine states laugh, that is the first Z I've seen that is actually close enough for me to drive to and get!!! I might actually bid on it, well for $1 what the heck, surley there is something there worth $1 and a 2 hour drive??? Wouldn't ya think??

Wouldn't it be a laugh if I won it for $1 and it really was a diamond in the ruff!!!! I'd $hit myself!!!!

wondering if he was paid for it on the last auction .. kinda sounds like it.... now who would not wanna come pick that up ???:dead:

PS

I hold the ownership certificate to the Golden Gate Bridge and will include the bridge in the sale for an extra $50

ROFL:finger: :devious: :stupid:

CaptnKrunch already mentioned this, but I couldn't stop laughing when I read:

I sold this Datsun once before but the guy left it here.

That is classic!!

Lance still has my full support on it though. I know I've had similar "diamonds" in my collection before, seriously! :cross-eye For a dollar, I'd go for it.

NO RUST, it's in California! We have the sea water desalinated before it can get near the shoreline. LOL :stupid:

Oh, yeah; the bridge was sold once before too, but the guy left it here. ROFL

Hmmm... that stainless windshield trim.... that might make the trip worthwhile... it doesn't appear to be painted brown....

going up to Michigan on Sat... so I'll be driving right by the town this car is located in... I could always take more pics of the .. it's not rust,,,,,:alien:

Hey I'd like more pics! I emailed the seller but he hasn't answered, big suprise looking at his feedback. What I'd really like to know is if there is any of that bumpy flaky brown paint on the hatch..... If there isn't that would sure make it worth $1 for me...
