If anyone here is bidding on it and I let the cat out of the bag sorry. It looks ok, but sounds a bit shifty from his descroiption, would definitely be worth having a look at if you were close though.

Cheers Chris

It's worth a look for the money he's asking since it's in Melbourne.:classic:

You can go look, tell us all how terrible it is then pick it up for a steal. :)

Was gonna look at it for a friend but not sure if a Z is a good car for him I told him it's something you have to be passionate about not get it just cause I rave about them cause I know all there headaches aswell.

I'll see what he has to say. :classic:

yes it is the third listing in the last few weeks for this one. oops I aint no ebay junkie. I have been asking questions of the seller, three times. No prizes what questions I have been asking. My policy is I dont bid until I know what is on offer, I still did not get to bid. I hope the seller gets back to me soon, before it goes off again.

cheers

Steve :classic:

yeah i agree it's not a flawless looknig car infact I almost expect to show up provided i do go and find what will be another disappointment.

I'm well trained in the Datsun game but so it's pretty hard to hide anything on a Z if you ask me but hey nobody's perfect at the same time.:tapemouth

This one just popped up in the quokka (Perth version of the trading post). Might be of interest to some of you...

DATSUN 260Z, 1974, 2 seater, fully worked, L28, 6 cyl motor, full race cam, twin SU" & 3/4 carbies, custom extractors, 5 spd manual g/box, new h/duty clutch & pressure plate, new back & front master cyls, seals & brakes, Deltaline mags, total body restoration, new dr & hatch seals, all receipts, spent well over asking price $AUS10,000 ono. It been on autotrader for a long time... abit over the money for such a modified car...but it does look goof in the metal. I war it at the W.A. Z-car day in August.

Thanks for that it looks a good car but i don't think he will be spending that much on a Z. I know if i buy a Z in future i'll be spending a decent amount of money. That's if I get a second Z ;-)

He originally wanted a 2+2 for the extra seats so he can drive his younger brothers to skool I'm trying to convince him to get a 2 seater so you could say im half way there now getting him to spend a bit more money on it is the next stage :).
