Well honestly i thing i should get a better cap for this Taylor wires to get better contact from the cap to the spark plugs. There is some intermittent flickering on the dash board even connecting only spark plug 4 wire from dizzy to plug 4. I would like to use the complete set but with this flickering on the turn signal lights i cant move forward. Doesnt pertronix sell a dizzy cap for this cables? I wanna ditch the ngk blue cables.

I did get a new cap, however the old cap and rotor were working. I changed as I felt there is better conduction with the brass cap and rotor.

And a brass rotor.

And I notice that my car has 4 different wire looms that I tagged in my photo above where I only see 1 on your car.

Should be just fine.

It's a pity I can't install the other 6 cables going from the dizzy cap to the plugs. Bought a new dizzy cap with gold terminals from ebay and still experiencing the same intermittent flashing at the dashboard after replacing the ngk cables with Taylor 84090 wires. Any other recommendation to solve this problem.

My guess is it has nothing to do with your distributor, plug wires or coil to distributor wire. More than likely it's something to do with the way the Pertronix ignition is wired. In the stock 72 240Z wiring diagram the primary coil wire goes through the tach which is also where the turn signal indicators are.

Ill send some pics tomorrow. I guess the camaro mechanic when replacing the pertronix 1.5 ohms coil with the msd blaster 2 0.7 ohms coil missed something. Maybe you can guide me!

I'm not familiar with the Pertronix ignition, perhaps someone else is familiar with Pertronix and can jump in. I doubt it will help but I did the ZX dizzy swap that's wired like this;

Jalex, I meant to ask about the earthquake... Hopefully all is well with you and yours!
