just to clarify..

in the U.S.A. all LSD R200's are from 87-89 300ZX correct?

If I were to install, this LSD on my 280Z... what else what I need other than JUST the differential?

Just stick some 16" wheels on with 50 series tires that 4.11 will be just fine.

do you have an R200 open diff installed at the moment? if you do then its a straight bolt in, just check to make sure the flanges for the tailshaft and half shafts are the same as your original diff

well.. that 4.11 idea.... not a fan of anymore...

so if i stay with my automatic I am going for a 3.7 and a high speed torque converter

or a 4-speed with a 3.9 (can't find a good 5-speed)

If you check the Nissan 280ZX manual you will find 280ZX 2+2 only had three diffs. 3.7 3.9 and 3.54 and if my memory is correct pinion vs crown were 37:11 37:10 and 39:10. My 280 auto runs 3000 rpm at 100 km/h 4000 rpm at 140 and I run 16x205x55 series and the speedo is spot on.

In the internet pages is a page showing all tyres sizes wheel sizes roling cirumference and speed difference, i just cant find it for you as I have too many short cuts..

I have a 1978 280Z with an automatic tranny....

so my differential.. i dunno.. i think it's an open R200
