I have seen people talking about L28, L28E, and L28ET engines. What's the difference?

Oh yes, then there's the LD28 and the L28. Again, what's the difference?

L28 = most likely the 2.8 block

L28E = 2.8 fuel injected engine (E)fuel injected)

L28ET = 2.8 fuel injected turbo (T)turbo)

LD28 = 2.8 deisel
