value of "snowflake" wheels?

Featured Replies

Hi all. I have a set of snowflakes, but have no idea what they are worth. I was going to use them, but have decided to go with 16's instead. Any help is appreciated!

Tons of looks, no replies....I must be the most boring man in the 240z world.

that's code for "Nope, no idea!"

Stuff like this tends to vary by location a lot too, since nobody enjoys shipping wheels.

condition is the biggest issue. i bought a set (silver recesses) 2 years ago in round/true and clean bolt and go condition for $250. thought i got a good deal until i decided to try to sell them. finally traded them for a spare panasport wheel. probably broke even i guess. i know where there's a NIB/NOS set (gold recesses) that the the owner thinks is worth $800. he might be right, but so far nobody has even made an offer that didn't insult him as far as i know. if they're nice, with caps and lugs but no tires, i'd hit craigslist at $250 and you can tell us how it goes. if they're REALLY NICE, they might be worth more on ebay to someone who's actually restoring an '81 turbo.
