Need your opinions on fender mirrors

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have a set of fender mirrors I bought for my z, but now I am torn on whether to put them on or not. Sometimes I like the looks of them and sometimes I dont, plus I'm not sure how I feel about drilling into my fenders. What do you guys think?

I feel the same way! Some days I think I'll put them on my car and other days not. I would really like to sit in someones car that has them to see how they look from the drivers seat. I think then I'd know for sure either way. Where did you get your mirrors and how is the quality?

I've seen your car Bryan, it's in great shape! I'd have a very difficult time cutting into such nice fenders.

I always thought that having mirror on the fenders, now matter how great would get in the way while working on the engine.

It's kinda like cutting holes in your door panels for speakers - I just could not do it...............

I don't think the visibility is that great. Maybe you could stick them on with magnets in order to mock them up to see how you like them.

Why not make some type of a magnetic base for the mirror so it's removable. This is what I plan on doing when I get my set.
