I assume you mean Geo Bush SR. No, Then it was about his agression towards Kuwait. But if you DID mean Clinton, it was about taking the heat off of himself and Lewinski mess. (a different kind of stain indeed!)

Currently Saddam isn't menacing anyone (except his own people). We do not have proof that he's doing anything wrong (yet). Right now the world at large is not with us on this thing. If we do not have the full support of the UN; we will be (actually already are by some) seen as the aggressors. Did anyone see Nelson Mandela on TV tonight? He's just one person (an influential one) but his stance is shared by many others throughout the world.

We SHOULD have taken him (Saddam) out then when we had a legitimate reason to do so. (Shoulda killed the F*CKER)

GW is just TOO quick to rush into this. We are not the police of the world! They do not want us to be.

Bambi, i agree with you that the us isn't a police force for the world but we like to act that way, & i give a big 'ol BAH to that.

Personally, I think G.W.B. is just doing this to take the focus off what hes doin to the economy, but thats just my opinion, i'm 16 what do I know

I belief this is something that sould have been done years ago. Like when saddam kicked out the inspectors and therefore violated the cease fire. Anyway I belief that it needs to be done, but the timing is not the best.
