Hi I'm new hear and i am restoring a 74 260z i have a few questions.

1. How do I remove rust that is inside my engine block where the coolant passes by?

2. Also any advice on how to remove rust on the body of the car? Other than sanding?

I acid dipped a block in muriatic acid using a plastic garbage can.

You can do the same but use "evaporust".

OR

take it to an engine shop that can do similar.

I used a Winchester gun cleaning kit from Walmart after it was vatted at a machine shop. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Winchester-Universal-Cleaning-Kit-24pc/20595702. Worked great.
