I found a box with some of my odd switches. They look like 280Z switches but with 240Z connectors.

Switches included in European market where cars are parked half on the sidewalk and half on the street, and the street-side marker lights are turned on. Everyone has seen pics of those narrow European streets in some old cities.

Nothing to do with Europe or European streets. As has already been pointed out, the 'Parking Lamp' switches and the system they controlled were primarily for the Japanese market.
