Door panels

Featured Replies

Ok,...I am gathering parts for my "new" 240. However, I can't seem to find a place that supplies the door panels. I have seen them on eBay for over $400.00 a pair.

Where can I locate door panels for my Z without having to take out a second mortgage?

Are you looking for new panels, or are some used panels "with a bit of character" an option?

I was looking for new,...but would consider a used set in good condition.

I wanted BLACK,..but again, would consider any color, (I can always dye them).

I've got a couple. On is in good, usable condition, the other not so much.

Thanks Oiluj, but I've found the door panel "skins" on a couple of sites now. I think I'm just going to go that route.

Thanks again though,

DT

DT,

I bought a set of 240Z skins with the chrome strips attached from Les at Classic Datsun Motors Sports and I'm very happy with them. Make sure you use a good, solid set of door panel boards to mount the new skins on.

That's who I'd use as well.

Thanks guys!! Looks like I will be placing a purchase from Les at Classic Datsun Motor Sports.

Can't go wrong with Les. Good quality parts and he stands behind his products.

Hey Oiluj, I may be interested in your door panels...they're black, right? I'm looking at a Z this weekend and someone painted/dyed/replaced the door panels with an orange/red color. Not sure the best way to undo the process, but I'll have a better idea this weekend.

Yep. they are black. One is in good, usable condition, the other not so good.

I'd be happy to let you have them for a good price, but if your red/orange panels are in good shape, it would be easier/cheaper to dye the ones you have.
