Featured Replies

I have may hat in my hand!:D I am looking at a Datsun Patrol in the RENO area. Is there any member in the area willing to take a look at a vehicle for me? I just want someone to put eyes on to make sure I am not being scammed :pirate:before I send out the cash. If you can please PM me.

Thanks Jerry Purcell

Jerry,

I am newly in the Reno area. I go back to work tomorrow and that is pretty much all I can accomplish for the next 6 days but after next Tuesday, I start my every other week 8 day vacation and could look at it for you. Not really in to Datsun Patrol, in fact I am not even sure what one looks like but I do know what rust looks like and I can hear a rod knock pretty well...

Rob,

The main mechanical parts that are hard to replace include the carb, distributor, heater core, wiper motor(s), door lock mechanisms, and window regulators.

Rob,

I will contact the owner and get an address where the vehicle can be seen. It is rough but looks to be solid and most of the parts are there. It does not run but does turn over. The current owner obtained it at a storage auction. He is currently in the hospital but said the vehicle was accessible. I don't want to inconvenience you so if the location is too far from you don't hesitate to beg off.

Thanks JLP
