shipping a n47 to hawaii from the west coast is 90 bucks using us post office

Blue, any idea how much the Maxima N47 would change the comp ratio?

I used an on-line calc here and got 9.2:1 with maxima N47 head.

F54 with 86mm bore 10.9cc dished pistons

L28 crank 79mm stroke

L28 rods

1mm Felpro head gasket

Maxima N47 head 38.5cc

Thanks, Blue. So it seems that while swapping my N47 head with a Maxima head would be much simpler, I'd get more compression from keeping my current head and putting in flat top pistons.

Anyone know if 9.7:1 will run on [California crap] pump gas without pinging?
