1976 Datsun 280Z- STOLEN-NEED HELP

Featured Replies

I know this is a longshot but...

Last evening, between 4:15 and 7:45 p.m. my 1976 280Z was stolen. It had been parked near 10th and Market, downtown San Diego. The car is bronze with copper interior, excellent condition, California License #3SMZ256. The license frame has Gators on top and Florida on the bottom.

It may already be in Mexico, but if anyone out there sees a car matching this description, please contact the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000. I've had the car for 25 years, each of my two kids learned to drive in this car and, needless to say, it has sentimental as well as monetary value.

Please help-

Thanks-

Jim

PS- I attached a picture of the car.

Hi all-

Police found the car in Spring Valley. Body is intact, except for some spray painted artwork. No seats, all wiring cut, sill plates, visors, spare tire, jack, glove compartment, console, radio and exterior emblems missing. It is trashed. Waiting for insurance to weigh in on what to do with it now.:ermm:

Thanks for your offers of assistance.

I got some of the parts you need to get her back to where she was before those douche bads defiled her.

give us a list of what you need. I have little in the way of spare parts but If I have anything you need it's your's.

Sorry man. Hope she/he get well soon. Had to be some kids, Bastards. Why the lack of respect =/

Glad your car was found, at Ecology there is a 77 2+2 thats almost 100 complete.
