QUICK! Name these models. Subtract 20 points for consulting the VB catalogue and subtract 30 points for checking with ZHOME.

Just driving down the road, minding my own business and saw these crumpled heaps of gorgeous Z metal in a vacant lot. Pulled in and snooped around and whipped out my trusty Makita and lifted some tags. I will give them a decent burial.

LOL :mad: :mad:

GOOD GRIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're in better nick than the one on my DATSUN 260 Z.

Rick.

The first one is from a 280Z.

The second is from (this is a guess) some sort of right hand drive 280.

And the third has me stumped.

Lets round all those answers up together and get a rope around them once and for all;

*HS130 = 280ZX ( Right Hand Drive market version )

*GRLS30 = 260Z 2+2 ( Left Hand Drive market version )

*GHLS30 = 280Z 2+2 ( Left Hand Drive market version )

Wonder what the right-hooker ZX was doing in your neighbourhood Zvoiture? Maybe another US Forces "Personal Import" job?

Please subtract 100 points because I called MSA and asked for the answers ( but they didn't know either................ ).

Let's try another one.

Spot the "deliberate" anomaly.................

Good point Alfadog.

But more to the point; why would anyone at Nissan want to BUILD a 280ZX?.....................

7000 RPM??? Wow. What are we looking for, Alan? You can not go around using verbiage like 'deliberate anomaly'. Some of us in Pigsuckle can't get a grip on it. Did you mean 'translationary mis-application' or is there an actual mistake in there?
