ok the notch is straight up and is it ok to just hit it with the impact gun also im going to make a mark at tdc and if i advance my timing it should be 5degrees rite

If the notch is straight up you are at TDC, that should make it 5 degrees at 750 RPM, go figure.

The key notch on the crankshaft pulley isn't in the same location as the notch on the pulley that lines up with the timing marker on the engine regardless of which side it's supposed to be on. Where is the notch on the edge of the pulley when the key notch is straight up?

the notch is on the richt side at tdc where the bolt hole is on picture 1

So you need a pointer for the passenger side of the block? I may have one but it will take me a day or two to look through my stuff.

and how many notches / groves do yo have in your pulley

I have bolth of those tabs & the covers that go along with them. Let me know if a photo or two would help you. If so I would be more then happy too get them posted. Also, if you tell me that you could send it back asap I would drop the marker you need in the mail. Maybe you could use it for making one for your car. Or just use mine for getting your motor lined out pull it off and send it back.

I have 4 marks on the pully .If you could just take some pictures.And if you could git the lengths from bend to bend and how wide it is. I can make it from that.

Sorry, my camera took a spill today and mu phone is a pos for photos. The marker is an inch long and about 1/2 inch wide with a tab at every 1/4 inch. I hope that helps. Let me know any other info you may need and I will see what I can do for you.
