WTB lug nuts

Featured Replies

Hey all, I'm looking for 16 lug nuts that will fit the '82-'83 280ZX Swastika wheels so I can put them on my 240Z. All the ones I find locally either have a shaft that is too long, or too big around, and will not fit correctly. If anyone has anything they will sell cheap, then please PM me. I'll need to see pictures to make sure they will work. Thanks!

Greg

Do you have a junkyard near you? That would be your best bet. I have plenty of those lug nuts but the shipping would probably be more than I'd charge for the lug nuts themselves. They're a Nissan only item. Same lug nut was used on the Swatika, the Iron Cross, the Snowflake, the 810 factory alloy, the so called 'Black Pearl' wheel, and I'm sure many others. 40224-R4670 is the present Nissan part number, and they still have them, but you really wouldn't want to buy them new since they're about 7 bucks apiece.

Any parts house that sells Dorman products can get a repro version, locally they run about $2.50 each. Better than the dealer if you can't find used ones.

Greg,

Try John Walker, Gladstone Oregon, he advertises on PDX Craigslist, "datsun auto parts"..... He had an inventory of the correct lug nuts....

Thank you guys. I did check with John at the swap meet and he didn't have anything. I'm going to join the official local club and then I can get a discount at the dealer. I've checked all over otherwise and no one has any. sblake, if I have any trouble getting them from the dealer for some reason, then I may want to get them from you anyway. If so, I'll PM you. Thanks!

Greg

Check with this guy

http://www.stocktonwheel.com/lugs.htm

His name is Mike I bet he has them. Nice guy, and very reasonable.

I just received some lugs from him yesterday.

For the lug nut in question, unless you know the exact measurements, a specialty shop won't do you any good and maybe not even then. Like I said, it's a proprietary Nissan lug nut. If you have a local junkyard, that's your best bet. If you go to a dealer, or shop like Stockton wheel, you're just spending extra money unnecessarily.

That's them. The per unit cost was $6.80 a few years ago for new ones when I got this set.

Thanks for the ebay link! I'm bidding...see if I win it. If not, there is always the dealer. It would be nice to be able to drive the car again so I hope I win.

greg

Those are already at about 25 bucks including shipping with over 4 days left. Not bad but I'm sure I can do better than where they'll probably end up. If you don't win, send me a PM.

If you can do better than I'll just go through you....except I've got the high bid right now.....I guess if I don't win then I'll give you a shout. I need something that will work....
