Parts

Featured Replies

Maybe i am missing it but i cant fine a couple of things and hope you guys can help. The vinyl bag that goes over the wiper motor ? and the plastic snorkels on either side of the Radiator ?

Thanks

I tried to get the part numbers off of the club CD but they're hard to read. You can order parts from www.nissanparts.cc but the wiper motor cover either doesn't show up or I can't read the number properly. I've attached a picture; good luck.

The RH air horn is available 62590-E4101, but not the left. While I haven't tried them yet one of my local Nissan dealers is now selling parts online at http://www.nissanpart4u.com. They also show the above for less.

Your best bet for those types of parts is find some one who is parting a car out. I had to find a left vent elbow for my yellow 240Z, I ended up buying an entire car for parts. (Yes, it had the elbow, although that was far from the primary reason for buying the car.) I have a wiper motor bag, but unfortunately my spare wiper motor is still in it, and I'm not quite ready to turn loose of it yet. And again, it came from a parts car.

Now I'm not advocating you buy a whole car just for these parts, but finding some one who is parting one out is still your best bet.

You can get a replacement wire motor boot(bag) from www.classicdatsun.com. Check the Interior section.

As Arne suggested, the best place for the snorkels is a recycling yard.

Comin' at ya from Vegas!!!!

Good call, Enigma! I've never seen that on Les' site before. I'd much rather use a new one that some old, stiff used one.

You can also check in with Mike @ Banzai Motorworks on the wiper motor boot:

The fresh air intakes (used) might be available through Danny's Datsuns (he's a Z dismantler based out of Roseburg, OR):

Sounds like I'm a bit late, but here is the page from my CD.

For whatever reason yours is clearer than mine. That part number actually exists and it's amazingly inexpensive:
