'73 240z Fsm

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a '73 240Z Factory Service Manual. Up to now, I've been using a Haynes book.. -.- Worst damn book I've ever read, though I guess it might have helped if I was from Britain.

It doesn't have to be in 'perfect' condition. Just still legible and with all the pages. =P

Feel free to PM me or just respond here. Thanks everyone!

I found mine on ebay. It was a copy of a service manual, but it was relatively cheap. I just unbound it and put it in a 3 ring binder. It has been very helpful. I agree with you about the Hayes and Chilton repair manuals, they stink.

I like the Chiltons manual becuase it tires to cover 18 years of the cars that are completely different..

But yeah, I'm also looking for a FSM for a '71, if you find a decent source let me know.

There's a repro on eBay for $75. The quality of the text and diagrams is good, but the photos are over developed by the printer and too dark to really see anything useful in most cases. I bought one to get dirty, and an original if I need to look at pics. I found both on eBay and actually paid less for the original in excellent shape.

I believe this is the repro:

Here is a CD of the FSM with the parts microfiche.

ROFL. That right there, is a perfect example of the crappiness of the Haynes book. Thanks Wingnut. I forgot all about that sentence.

Thanks Steve! I'll look into that CD.

LOL,

I did not get it at first. I haven't looked at my Hayes manual in over 20 yrs. I wonder if I could sell it on ebay for some jack?
