My 280z doesn't have a radio in it right now, so I've actually never really bothered and hadn't really remembered seeing any speakers in it except for the back two. Are these the only two in the car, or where are the other(s)? These are the only two that I can find, the back two on either side of the car.

There is also prevision in the later S30s(I don't remember the years)for a speaker in each sidewall behind the front seats-look at the dogleg trim for perforations as you pictured

Just looked behind the two front seats and did not see any. This sounds like mine could be an early model?

My 78 has the speakers behind the seats and nothing in the back.

The 74 260Z, and the 75-76 280Z have them where you pictured them. 77-78 have them in the panels behind the seats where Will and Tomohawk described.

Maybe it's an Oz thing, but my 8/74 260Z has the perforations in the back AND behind the seats.

I have black panels from both locations that have the perforations-but then who is to say I didn't take them from different cars-I sure don't remember.
