Posted September 28, 200618 yr comment_183996 The aft ends of the roof drip rails, have become loose, as if they were pulled off, and they seem to be twisted. Is that normal? The inner shelf flange is turned up so that thhe water can easily run underneath. I'd like to get them back on & untwisted. They don't easily twist back. I can get a pic later, but I think this may be a coimmon problem. What's the fix?thx Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21735-twisted-drip-rail-ends/ Share on other sites
September 28, 200618 yr comment_184009 You know, I think that may be normal. I had them off when my car was painted and that flange tapers outward the last 4 inches or so but the drip rail doesn't get any thicker so it won't go on any farther than that at the end. Both of mine fit flush until they get to that point. September 28, 200618 yr comment_184025 I think that Tomo is concerned because they sit out farther at the ends than they do the rest of the way, but I also think that is normal. September 29, 200618 yr Author comment_184097 The reason I'm inquiring is because at a car show last summer, I was penalized because my drip rails didn't follow the body lines, or- stuck out and were twisted. :hurt: expert judge...
