yup you probably did see it down the back of Holdens, coz i work there, but as Mr Camo said, it's sold, he would know he bought it :)

i'd just remind any yanks (who are not stationed overseas) to think again before they privately importing a car

besides extra and unforseen costs, there is a good chance of losing interest or running out of funds between the time you make the decision to import and by the time you actually get it

i never thought of that ...:P

seriously, i'm no longer shocked when i hear of another jap import changing hands

guys seem to think they're the greatest thing initially, then reality dawns on them and they're like "what?! i've got to get rid of this thing"

Yes, It's cool to own a RHD one-of a-kind car in the states. Then, when something breaks and you have to find non-existant parts . . . I am already thinking about that, and the car is still in JAPAN! You really have to be a car-nut to endure these things . . . .

but isn't that part of the reason we love them? what is the fun of being able to pick up a part easily from a near by wreckers.. when instead, you can draw on a small pool of resources worldwide!

well, only we who live on the fringe of datsundom are willing to put in the extra effort (we get off on it)

check out this butaketsu on ebay. after investing all that time and money to get it, then losing interest. sad.
