280z $800

I dunno. If you're going to swap to carbs, why flat-tops? Makes me wonder what it really is?

It looks like a little more than an EFI to carb conversion that went bad. It has the wrong radiator for a 77, no carbon cannister, etc. Strange.

That poor car is mess. The seller says "This is not a car you can hop in and drive. needs fluid changes, inspection, and maybe more." ROFLLOL

Looks to me like this dude started this project and due to not knowing what the hell he was doing, screwed it up big time and now he's trying to unload it. God help the next poor owner that has to straighten out that mess HE made.

But is the body worth $800 I ve seen engines on e bay for less then $500 or a rebuild ? is it worth it

it is worth more in parts than anything else. it looks as if there would be too much work to get it in shape. starting over from scratch can be very expensive... Ive seen better in the JY here recently in fact with MUCH less rust and damage

Why would you do the body before your floor boards and such? All show no go? I donno....

Where'd everyone get $800? The current starting bid is $250...I see this car is relisted...

This thing is WAY out of control on the inside, especially the engine bay.

I'd consider it for body parts if it weren't in Indiana!

In my estimation: No. You could spend a little more just look on craigslist.org in Ca. and you will find many better rust free candidates. As always buy the very best car you can afford and you will have many less headaches/ heartaches. I know from experience--over 40 Z cars in 15 years. Sometimes it is better to walk away and wait.
