Perhaps we should all run out and learn to read Japanese......NOT!

Well, seeing as these are Japanese cars - it might actually not be such a bad idea. Especially for those of us that own Japanese-market models - like the member who started this thread.

But I don't think you need to read Japanese to understand the information contained in the page scan I posted - its just common sense.

Actually, you don't need to learn how to read Japanese. Most of this stuff is in katakana (phonetic characters) and it's just a matter of deciphering what they're referring to. ボンネット is bonnet, which is British English for hood. Any good bookstore has a hiragana/katakana chart. hehehehehehe . . . .

I'm learning Italian right now for my trip to Italy. I can only handle one language at a time. Maybe later..... :)

I owned a 1970 Fairlady and now have a 1973. Both were Nissans.
