Howdy All

New to the site and just wish to say hello. My father in law just gave me a 1971 240z, original owner care that has been in the garage for 30 years. 24k original miles. No rust anywhere. Still smells new inside. I am starting a refresh job on it and begining with the brakes. Had to haul it to SoCal from Sacramento on a car carrier as the brakes were locked up. In my garage now, and I am looking forward to this new project, Found y'all on the web and will check in from time to time with questions and updates.

Welcome, your in the right place w/ the right car. Everyone here very helpful. Congrats on your "new" Z.

Wow, what a gift! Damn I'm envious. Welcome to the site.

Cheers.

Damn nice gift!!! You must be a good son in law! Have fun, that one sounds relatively easy. Check out the threads for rust, if thats no sweat, you're crusing by spring!! Enjoy. PS, put it up on jack stands, throw some carpet underneath, and you won't be found for awhile. Great place to take nap!!!

That's great. You have a real treasure there. I'm not exaggerating when I say that several members of this forum would kill to have a car like that.

There are some good threads here about what to do for a Z that hasn't been run in a long period of time.

Twenty-four thousand miles. Wow, that's how many miles I have on my 2003 Sentra. : )
