New...again.

Hello all,

I used to be a member of this site a while ago but lost touch with it after joining the Army and being in training for almost a year. So, now I'm located in an area where I think I'll finally be able to get a classic sports car, and I think the 240Z is what I want to get into.

Anyway, I'm here in Salinas, CA near Monterey, and I plan to be at the Historics this summer, so hopefully I'll see some of you there.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the welcome back. I really hope to find a nice 240Z somewhere around here. If you guys know of any cars for sale or of a place where people usually advertise Z cars, let me know. I've been looking on www.craigslist.com, scanning the newspapers, etc. I'll also be looking to see if any cars are for sale at the Historics.

mahalos again,

Joel

California is the place to be when looking for a good Z!!! Take your time and do a little homework it is well worth it !!!! Do not let Z Fever cloud your thinking !!!!

I guess its just a matter of finding the right car for my budget. About how much is a decent 240Z driver going for right now? There seems to be quite a bit of variation in price depending on where you're looking. Cars on Hemmings.com can be pricey, whereas you find some real POS elsewhere that people just want to get rid of.
