so jokingly, i say, "hey lets go to the Jasper Junkyard" to "find" a LD28 crank.

So we get there, they are closed. but we *sneak* through the gate. we split up, and about 20 seconds later, i hear "HOLY SH*T"

ran over, and there are FOUR, yes guys FOUR (4) Datsun Maximas, all diseal. I pop the hood on al 4 and yup. the whole engine is there. OMG!!!!!

not to mention there was one non disel that i guess has the N47 maxima head...

Next thing we know, a car drives up and yells, and we run back to the front, its the owner, and we calmy ask for all 4 engines and that head. he says ok. so we got to work.

now im not good at math, but thats 3 LD28 cranks to sell on ebay, 4 diseal intakes, and one maxima head.

add that up guys...cause we only spent $500 on everything....

I sold a couple of those for $250 each about two years ago after finding them in the local Ecology Auto Wreckers for $45 ea plus my labor.

Last LD28 crank i saw on ebay didnt sell, minimum bid of $290. zero bidders, was relisted and sold for $290.

4 engines for $500 is a bargain compared to this (single) LD28 thats on ebay for $950

Intakes are said to be bigger diammeter and good for F.I set up's.

It has small combustion chamber for super high compression. Chamber size is 39-40cc. Smaller than a E31!
