Your birthday car

Featured Replies

Kats' new thread gave me this idea - how about we post pictures of the cars that were just coming out when we were born! I know it's a bit silly, but I thought it could be cool... anyway, without further ado, 1984:

1984 ????????????

Good grief Lachlan, that's the year I was discharged from the Army after 20 years service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I'll have to visit the local library and see what books they have on VINTAGE cars of 1943.

Rick.

:devious: :devious:

Holy crap...........even if I posted pics of the cars that came out when I was born, most people likely wouldn't recognize then. So imagine 1951 Chevys, Fords, and all the other beasts out then!!! Come to think of it, what the hell does a 1951 Chevy even look like??? ROFLROFLROFL

How about attaching photos instead of all the linked images? Some of us have dialup connections and this page already takes 4+ minutes to load with all of the linked images. Not to mention the pictures have stretched the width of the page to annoying extremes.

I was born in 1970 and we all know what famous and wonderful car came out then

Holy Cow, I started growing my mustache in 1970!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry! I would have taken the time to insert the dimensions of the photos so that the page would render instantly and the images would fill in their pre-defined spaces as they download. But either this site software can't let me add that to the HTML or the sysop has it disabled. Maybe I'll edit the page so show the URLs instead of the photos.

Yeah yeah, that just means I live longer than you (hopefully)

Instant karma gonna jump up and bite you, boy!
