i was looking at making a cold air intake for my 240z and was wondering what sort off performance increase others have experience with such a system.

might be some pretty heavy fabrication to make an intake from the carbs to go far enough away from the engine to benifit you at all...

but there are those nice AC ducts.... hmmmm

It's not all that bad, if you have it you need to watch the Just SUs video from ZT. He shows what you are looking for and even tells you where to get it and how to install it.

I concure with texasz. The Ztherapy SU video shows what they did for their Z racer. I don't think you have to go as far as the whole fiberglass air cleaner though. I'm sure you could rig some sort of tub, like they said in the video, a dryer hose to the stock air cleaner and run it to the hole where the freash air comes in at the front of the car for the driver air vent. Thats what I'm gonna do.
