1973 Datsun 240z
i seen that car too, offered trade for my 99 blazer but he didn't accept . I seen some posts on here or hybrid from that car with issues with the carbs, But doesn't seem too bad. Car looks decent from the pictures. THough I am not a fan of why the engine bay is black and not matching body color. If you feel the car isn't worh the price, than keep looking.

modified Z on CL

Has anyone used paint from Trinity 1945/Paint for cars .com
its a backyard paint job, some orange peel and a run here and there.. but should be able to take em out with color sand. the beauty of this paint is its cheap, can always refinish again in the future by ordering some more.

heres my semi update for you.... i went with their non-sanding acrylic enamel primer and shot it on my car (excuse the pic, i was wet sanding the primer here and couldnt help but take a picture in the middle of it * First time I shoot a spray gun, so I really cant give you any comparisons on their primer or paint, but I will keep you updated on my progress using their products. of course i cleaned and prepped everything best I could, given the risky environment im in, its not gonna be super show car, but will be great street car, and 5million times better then what the car was before *prior owner sanded down the upper portion to bare metal and clear coated it for a 2 tone look, i dunno why he did that, more bitch work to prep* Tomorrow I will be shooting the paint. Any imperfections should be minimal/ ease to remove with future color sanding down the line.

Has anyone used paint from Trinity 1945/Paint for cars .com
i got some but yet to use it.. going on my 91 rx7 daily driver tuner car.. not really a show car. Got the cheap single stage white they offer because a friend of mine who sprayed a few cars with it said its good. Take into fact we are not going for show car or show room quality or restoring 30+ year old Zs, so it might not be for everyone. Ive yet to see this stuff in person as I havent seen my friend in a while.

How far will Maaco go for you?
I had my paintjob done at maaco *white 240sx on the right of hte pic* at maaco. They had alot of custom cars being worked on when i went there. I just needed a cheap paint job to get the job done. Cost me over $980 becuase I had them paint seperate parts like body kit, and minor fiberglass work done to my rear spoiler. THe paint job came out pretty good. Nicely laid down paint. THe sucky part is it wasnt sanded down previously before the paint and I shoulda put more prep work into it, otherwise it woulda been a hella good paint job. *240z on the left is a friends car*

Ebay H4 headlamps ...
your local auto parts store may carry APC, I know Kragens carries them, and APC does have a headlight wiring upgrade kit. If there is a Kragens by you, they can get it for sure.

Anyone interested in a G-Nose with a valence??
it woudl be cool to sell it to a aftermarket body kit manufacture like carboncreations.com, raceonusa.com, importfan.com or the likes so they could replicate it in cf or fiberglass... usually in return, they will give you a copy of it. so cf would be sweet. otherwise if i had a s30 and cash, id buy it for myself =D

How to Ideas for Flush turn Signals
id think what would be cool too would be to just shave the rear one, since the japanese cars didnt have them.

The best looking 240z period...
If your hitting curbs, u got serious problems... http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/images/dai/s01.jpg http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/images/dai/s02.jpg Wow look at those tires!!! seriously retarded and will not handle high speed cornering.. seriously tho, its a nice car.. alot different from teh usual knock off cheapo Konig rims or v8 swapped or ferrari wannabe Zs in the US.

The best looking 240z period...
i thought it would be cool to post this since it is more "japanese tune influenced" as far as exterior.. its not another chitty titty looking US 240z.. there are tons of redneck tuned US styled Zs on here *ahem v8 swapped, viper wannabe/ferrari wannabe, 17x7 crap offset honda civic sized rims, zx style body kitted* cars.. which loose thier esence as a japanese sports car. The dents on the hood can show that this car gets driven, not like the lil baby garage car some of you guys may have. And stretched tires have been a part of racing history which have thier benefits for wheel/fender fitment as well as stiffer sidewall. http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/index2.htm
