datsunZ's rule... where did you get your paintjob... its like a twin to my 77'. i thought it was my car for a second... holy crap!
glm, i think the problem is the fuel pressure regulator. mine did the same, ive gone through what you are dealing with, and that fixed it for me!
i removed my oil pan without lifting the engine... all i did was remove all of the bolts (pita), and slid it back and to the passenger side some, and took off the oil pick-up, and wham... it was out.
yeah, im plannin to do a similar engine setup, but on the "no-budget" plan. it will be fun and interesting to see what i can do with as little as possible (minus the prices for tires, and such..those are needed). id honestly be over happy with like a 14.6-14.8 on a daily driver/dirt road queen!
Thanks. Well to follow up, they havent called me back. Put me off for about 2 weeks, so I'm up to call them tomorrow! Bah! I did get it fixed though, cost only 10 bucks (my dad is buddys with a muffler guy, so im happy now!). thanks for the info!
either way, it works, and it hauls good arse. just get some tires on that baby, and im sure youd be easily into the 14's, no prob. all i hafta say is, bad arse 2+2. ......ya know... why didnt TonyD get bashed for his 2+2?? or anyone but you? i never understood that.
thats where you went bubbles... its la280. what a bunch of crap!!! anywho, your times make me feel way better about my dished pistons..heh heh. im personally keeping mine in because im going to do the slow turbo method... gather the parts, and then drop em in! hahahaha. its good to see ya here though!
hey guys i just got my 6-1 header from MSA, and its rubbing and hitting the tranny... i called them and they denied even having the problem! someone at the FL Z fest was telling me about having MSA fix it, and i want to find the posts about it so i can prove the guy wrong! thanks!
Yeah, I checked them out! Yesterday was fun, and all I did was go home and fix my backfire (Larry with the blue and red race Z showed me what to do). so no backfire, and I'm finishing repainting my airbox.
Hi guys! I heard a good number of people tell me about this site for good and friendly help. I met them at the Z fest this weekend, and it was awesome! sure beats the crowd from zcar.com... Anyways, I've got a blue 280.. it was flipped into the water, and now ive been into it for a year now, on a no-budget rebuild (mostly electrical, engine was okay!) Just wanted to say hi to everyone before I start asking funny questions!
