  1. I have a similar problem with my '72 510, it appears cloudy and there is NOTHING that cleans it. I have been told that it is the shatterproffing (spelling?) in the glass that would haze in the "old school" cars. But who really knows, I think the glass isn't even clear on what is wrong! HAHAHAHA I crack me up. Brian
  2. OUCH!!!! Well, I may have to settle for the Racing Hart, they look the same??? They are around 280ish or so.... my 3 cents. Ah hell, make it my $280. Bri
  3. Thanks sir(s)... So are Chevelon and Racing Hart the same or no?? Thanks! I need those wheels... Brian
  4. Thanks! They are nice. Brian
  5. Hello all, Can someone go to the gallery, type in "510" and find the pic of the red 510 and the red Z (that are SWEET by the way) and tell me what type of wheels those are??? By the way I think that they are on page 4 or 5, depending on how many pics you have per page.... BRE? Thanks! Brian

  7. You may try Z-therapy's site, I think that there is some info on it, the best thing is to order the "Just SU's" dvd or video, it's got some GREAT info, Steve is a great resource there, I can personally vouch for that... Good Luck. And tell him to get away from your car, work on it yourself! Have a great day.... Brian
  8. They are still on the car, I have not gotten around to removing them, it's easy enough tho... Interest? Have a great day... Brian
  9. Make that response. Duh. B
  10. :stupid: Sometimes I wonder if I should even sell 'em, great sound & resonse...
  11. I believe they are K&N, about 4 x 6, Chrome covers, each filter covers 2 carbs so there is a total of 3. Great shape... I saw a setup very similar in the gallery, if you do a search on "triple Mikuni" then there is a red car owned by Paul Dinnell, my set up is almost identical to his, except for the braided fuel lines, I do not have those. So, the covers on his are identical to his... Let me know if you have anny further questions... My alternate e-mail while I am away from work by the way is zero2seventy@hotmail.com Feel free to use that one as well, I check it once a night at least... Have a great day! Bri
  12. Hello all... I have a set of 44 PHH Triple Mikuni's with the intake, along with a selection of jets for dialing them in... This set is off of my '74, with moving, some Z's have to go away to make room for just one, I am forced to make some choices here. At any rate, I though I'd see if there was any interest from the club before I place them on Ebay. I hate to part with them, but my next car won't need anything more than SU's with SM needles... The '74 and the '71 are both going away, but I plan on retaining some items for the next Z should I find one that I like... They work excellent, I will post a fresh pic soon. Appearance of the Trip's is good, they are clean, I suspect that they will bring $500 minimum on ebay. Should anyone have any questions let me know... Dammit, I hate moving! :tapemouth Have a great day! Brian

  14. I have a '71 that I can look at / shoot some pics of, but it's in the garage and I am at work... I can look at it tonite in the event that you don't get your info. It seems that there is a wiring diagram on this site somewhere. EScanlon? (He's your guy on this...) Bri

  16. Matter o' fact... (and not to confuse the issue) In the event that I toss the Mallory dual point in the trash any suggestions on dizzys? Victor Laury, this one's for you.. B
  17. By the way, thanks Ed, I wondered if anyone was gonna reply, nice to hear from you, it's been a while. B
  18. I'm thinking that has to be it... I remember that the oil pump was off a tooth and fixed that, but I need to check the rest of it at TDC. Any advice? I believe it's at 28 degrees advanced at 3k, but I'm not sure you could get it to run that advanced if it was off a tooth? help! I swear I'm gonna run it off a cliff... And yes, I'll take the carbs off first. :stupid: B
  19. Howdy all, Ok, jump in the car, it's warmed up, good response on the throttle and then about 4k the car acts like its got a rev limiter on it, you can hold that beast to the floor and no rev past 4k or so. It acts like it's cross firing. By the way, this is the '74 260, with the triple mikunis on it, the dizzy is a dual point mallory with new points that are gapped correctly...Fuel pressure is fine. It really acts like ignition.... Any suggestions? Thanks!
  20. Yep, Triangular, and was this stock or some kinda after market stuff? The funny thing is is that I could not find a switch to activate the AC, that's why it thru me.... hmmmmm I wonder. Still have not bought it, still looking... Thanks for the feedback!
  21. No takers on this one? No way I stumped you all on this.... I know I can't figure it out :stupid: At any rate, have a great memorial day! ~Brian

Need Advice on swapping the engine from the '74 to the '71 or possibly another car... Is you experience, is it easier to pull the unit out as one part (engine and tranny) or seperate the two? Let me know the shortcuts if any?? Thanks guys, I have a buch of decisions coming soon on cars and what to do with 'em... I really need a good car in need of a motor / tranny... I'm just not sure that the '71 (unfortunatly is going together as planned... Thanks and have a great day! ~Brian
