What were they thinking?
That's the kind of item I would bid on and not pay. For the simple fact the seller is an idiot and doesn't deserve the $15,000 it's at. Then again the people willing to pay that are idiots.

Color Choice
Nathan, I really like Yellow Z's and Red Z's, but I love Costa's silver 240z it looks really effective. Only go white if your gonna dress her in flares and spoilers like my fav S30 from Japan . Red always works it's the safe bet but I've seen some really good blue Z's. I have a magazine with a blue 240z it was an MX5(Sorry Miata) color(Colour) . You know what play with photoshop :-). But dude blue is stunning :cheeky:

Its not a "bad" copy but i don't like the way he used that beautiful Z to advertise his product and i don't like the airdamn that can go with it.

Needy 240Z-G man!
i've estimated between 30-50k AUD depending on how original and how nice it is condition wise. The other reason i want to do it is because I've realised I don't know of 1 person in Australia with an authentic ZG, 432 or 432r(yeah right). Heck i only know of 2 C10's and they are both GT's.

Needy 240Z-G man!
Ben i agree I am thinking more and more these days about saving some money and importing a "real" zg from Japan. It would certainly save alot of hassles and I much prefer the authentic Gnose to any copies I've seen. Soon soon I won't be a broke Uni student soon soon i can afford these items

Finished paint job
I see the you have it bolted up to where the cross member is my friend and I were contemplating doing it where the bumper bolts up but agreed it would not be strong enough as I can see you probably thought the same

Should i buy this 240z?
Sounds like a good idea not driving it home. The pics of the car look fine to me. She's probably got 1 or 2 small rust spots other than the floors but generally an honest looking car and at $750.00 that's just great. In Australia that would be at least $2k - $3k of 240z . Anyway good luck with the project!

Looking for pics of Japanese hexagonal grills
I knew of the car for a while but it didn't strike me as what he was talking about for some reason. The fact that he mentioned Honda aswell got me real confused but yeah anyway going off topic here!

SUBTLE RS Start Skyline 2
Has the firewall been moved back to allow the L-series to sit closer to the centre of the car? It appears it has been perhaps because the L-series is heavy?? but then again the S20 with all the extra cam gear would weigh close wouldn't it???

PIC00026
Yes i imagine they would have some success, I was considering buying one for rallying because i couldnt rally a 240z it's just too rough for a classic like that im talking flat out through the forrest though. Since the 200B coupe in the states had an LD28 in it does that mean your allowed to race with an L6 in these in certain events?? I guess the main reason i would have used these though is you can get parts at any old wrecker still for these guys and they are the successor to the 510 which is always a good rally car.
