E31
Your right i don't have an E31 . However I do have the P90  . IMO the best head for the Zed . Unless you go twin cam or cross flow then it's a different story all together :cheeky: .

Email Notification Not Working???
Yeah im still not getting any notification even of this post I had to check back to see replies. Maybe it's the Australian's being affected .

E31
It's not worth replacing to be honest. The early 72 E88's at least in Australia were identical and even in 73 it was only the carbs that changed on the 73. I think the compression ratio dropped slightly but not much to notice. If you have put bigger valves in or done any port work to the E88 it's much better to stick with it. To be honest the E31 isn't all that rare either i'm sure you can still find them on Ebay. If you open the valve cover up you can see the cam oiler bar running along the length of the cam if it's an internally oiling cam you can see the holes in the cam lobes. Gavin.

Email Notification Not Working???
Hi sorry didn't know where to post this really but lately I haven't been receiving any emails to notify me of replies to posts or photo's have been approved or comments on photos etc.. I am still receiving normal emails from everywhere else and as far as I know my ISP has not implemented any spam protection lately blocking emails of any sort. I've checked to see if my email settings under User CP are still correct nothing seems to have changed except that im just not getting emails??? Im wondering if it's just me or if anyone else is having a similar problem it's been almost a week now.

Gav240z Not Photoshopped
Fair enough I just like playing with colors in photoshop and i think it hide a few imperfections which is always good . Yep gotta love the red Z

Seems like a really clean and original 72'
It just doesn't look like it's in good enough condition to justify nearly 20k. I've seen alot better to be honest. If chroming engine parts is not original and having flash paint is not original then so be it my Z won't be original. I think it's all relative really a well restored Z that isn't 100% original can go for more than an original car. I guess that's not really on the topic I just would expect more for my money.

Gav240z Black Vents
They are nothing special I don't think they are standard 240z ones. I've seen them on a few older cars here in Australia I think they are a Corolla mirror. I wanna change them to Chrome bullet style ones at some stage or the GT Falcon Style alot of other Aussie Z's have those.

An Offer on my Z
Well recently I've seen more fastbacks than 240z's apart from when i have those VicZcar meetings of course. If i do see a 240z (very rare) more like a 260z 2 seater is the norm they are usually pretty rough looking. When i see a Mustang they are always restored or well looked after. As Z's get on in age they are going to become more expensive and sort after I think its worth keeping for a while. Mustangs are not the best handling car and it would be slower than your Z unless "ALOT" of money has gone into it. As Alfa says we trust you'll make the right decision

An Offer on my Z
Your not looking hard enough George fastback's are rarer but i see more of them on the road than i do 240z's.
