Matt, I know what you're saying. I've not had a chance to drive a 350 , however I do own a 72-240 and a 90-300zx. The 72 has headers, 2 1/2 exhaust, triple carb setup, msd box, an L28 with a 5 speed. I know the 300 is as fast if not faster. But being able to hear the engine rev, listening to the raspy exhaust note, and even though I have installed sound deadening material I can still hear more road noise in my 240 than I can in my 300. All this makes me feel like I'm flyin in the 72. Plus I get more attention in the 240 than the 300. That probably adds 50 more hp and another 35 mph on my top end !!!!! 2-4-T-Z-MAN

Not to sure about the oldtimer bit, but I remember hearing Rod Stuart singing Magie Mae every morning as I was going to school. Then there's always the Beach Boys.

I'm running 16" panasports with 235/50/16. Bolt right up, no clearance problems. Good luck.
