  2. www.nismoparts.com under old school parts. I just ordered one. I know Courtesy shows it NLA. We'll see... Price is $170.69 shipped.
  3. Check your PM.
  4. Anybody got a pic of a NISMO strut tower bar installed on a 240Z? Kinda like to see how it looks before I order one.

My visors are blue on my '71 white with blue interior.
  7. What hose connections must be connected on the stock '71 air cleaner for a 240Z to run correctly? For example the connection below the air cleaner intake.....I see some cars with nothing attached to it. http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=15480 I am thinking of buying a Z Theraphy redone air cleaner and was curious which connections not currently connected that may have to be added. See my current setup below. I am hoping I can just swap out the air cleaner K & N element and bolt on the refurbished air cleaner.
  8. Marty, I have seen it at Books A Million & Barnes & Noble.
  9. Here is a link to their resto updates on the 240Z. http://www.classicmotorsports.net/news.php?cat=14
  10. Thanks Carl. Just ordered one from MSA for $119.95 after the club discount! You must have an old catalog too!
  11. My '71 240Z T/S switch needs replacing. I notice VB has different ones depending on the year Z. Courtesy shows one switch for 76-78. What gives? My car was built 2/71.
  12. My 2/71 production date Z has this older style mirror too.

  16. Jason, PM me what you want for it. I would like to buy a refurbished one from Z Therapy but $300! Does Z Therapy give any club discounts?
  17. Jason, Is the flapper working correctly?
  18. Got your pics Jason. Would the '72 stock air filter housing be the same as my car would have orginally had? It was built in 2/71 and is an early Series II.
  19. Anybody got a nice '71 stock air cleaner for sale?
  20. Jason, How do you like the K & N's? How hard are they to install? Here is my current setup. Works OK just doesn't look good.
  21. Nice write up. I agree 100%.

My son & I drove the '71 240Z 3 hours to ZDayZ at the Tail of the Dragon (318 curves in 11 miles!). It did very well on the road. I see now why in the early '70's the 240Z was such a hit. The car was an incredible performance car & value. We had a blast at the event. It was the only white/blue combo there and we got a lot of compliments. We met and talked to Carl Beck while waiting on the Z group shot at Fontana Dam. Carl drove 12 hours from FL for the event. My son enjoyed meeting him especially since he read the piece Carl did in SportZ Mag about getting his first 240Z and driving it across the country in the early 70's. There were 150 Z cars with probably 20 or so S30's in the group shot. I'll post some pics soon. We were representing in our Classic Zcar shirts!

  24. I am thinking about buying a bottle of their single stage (not basecoat/clear coat) 904 White and give it a shot on the engine bay touch up. I guess I'll order some primer too.
