Who are the worst drivers?
The blue hairs in the Crown Vics. Now they're driving the Chrysler 300 and still can't get out of the way. This is a bad time to bring this poll back up because all the freakin' tourists are on the roads here in Florida. Vicky

Which Ignition System do you use?
MSD 6AL ignition with a Blaster 2 coil. Rev limiter on iginition is set at 6K. Works and runs perfect Vicky

To much?
No, not to much, more like so much. The V-8 swap is so overdone and passe IMO. Nice car though. Do the V-8'ers not know the power potential in the inline 6?

Black Pearl Paint
Paints are made up of codes for each amount of color that is required to make the factory original. A good body shop will have a book that goes with the paint they specialize in, for example PPG. This book will tell the painter how much of each or certains colors to mix in order to get the factory original color you need. PPG is my favorite but everybody has their preference. Vicky

What do you do about the tranny?
Hi Will Scott painted and clear-coated his tranny. Makes for easy cleaning after running in puddles. Mung just wipes right off and it looks as good as new all the time. Vicky

Who WENT to Z Fest?
Hey Jeff Scott and I will be there. 26th-Z is going. I'm sure 2-4-T-Z Man is going to be there. I do believe Sean240Z is treking down. Carl Beck will show up. I'm going to wear my CZC hat. Check out the event site at www.sfzcc.com for all the juicey details. You can bring any extra Z parts for the swap meet. Vicky

Philly Auto Show - Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Why didn't the designers at Nissan see this type of look for the 350Z. This car looks more like a Z then the 350Z. This type of styling with 350Z prices would have made me think twice.

restoration
Don't just pick some schmoe out of the phone book to paint your car. If you don't already have a paint and body guy, the best way is to attend a few good cars shows and/or cruise in's around your area. Check out some of the cars and ask the owners where, who and if they had a good experience with their paint guy. FWIW Vicky

pricey
I love the comment about the accident with minor damage proven by the original radiator still being in the car. How in the heck would anybody know if it's the original radiator? Oh yeah, the numbers matching radiator plate Still it's a nice car. Silver Z's always look so clean. Vicky

does this steering wheel look familiar?
God Will, that was a gross thought  You need to go outside and get some fresh air. You're inhaling to much dirty diapers and baby puke  Back to the steering wheel. I guess all of us that don't have that wheel on our Z's might as well go out and burn the car because they're quite useless without it. What the hell does that guy mean buy that  Vicky

TT383 Chevy Engine in 72 240 Z
You know what would really be the kicker, if you could get someone to fabricate valve covers that say "Datsun".
-
Sex or Z?
Used to have a friend that had a bumper sticker on their car that said "Bend Over, I'll Drive". At the time (early 80's) I thought that was the funniest thing. Remember the "Do it in a Datsun" vanity plate? Saw one on e-bay a while back. A little to Disco-ish now-a-days. Vicky

Pre-installation TT383 Chevy
All I can say is "Yikes". There was a Z at MSA in 2003 that had a twin turbo V-8 that looked just like that motor. Bet the car screams. Gavin is correct, all that power means nothing if you can't get it to the ground.
